In Ghana’s entrepreneurial space, one name stands tall—Dr Ernest Ofori Sarpong. From his early days in Accra to becoming a key figure in multiple industries, his story inspires young entrepreneurs to dream big and execute their ideas with precision.

Early Life and Education

Dr Ofori Sarpong, born more than fifty years ago, credits his formative years at Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School (Presec) for instilling the discipline and strong work ethic that became cornerstones of his successful business career. However, his entrepreneurial genius shone brightest when he established Special Ice Ltd, a leading mineral water brand that has grown to become a dominant force in Ghana’s beverage industry.
